KRAZINES
Publisher of Moss Piglet art and literary journal
Since 2016, Krazines has built a community of artists and authors whose work is published each month in our art and literary journal, Moss Piglet. Become a Moss Piglet subscriber
We offer subscriptions for three, six, or twelve months. The longer the subscription, the deeper the savings. Your copy is shipped to your mailbox each month.
Submit Your Art and Writing
Each month, we place a global call for submissions to a new issue of Moss Piglet, and provide a theme to help artists and authors kick start their imagination. All submissions are due by the first Wednesday of the month. We accept visual art, poetry, flash fiction and essays (up to 1,000 words), photos, and comics.
CALL for SUBMISSIONS
Krazines is accepting submissions through Wednesday, August 6, 2025 for its September 2025 issue with the theme, Junk. Send your best stuff to [email protected]. And read our Submissions Guidelines for image and text information. The 1980s were so bright, you better have worn shades. 1980s marked the birth of MTV and CNN. It was a decade of big hair, Madonna and Cyndi Lauper (when girls just wanted to have fun), and John Hughes movies like "The Breakfast Club" and "Pretty in Pink." It was a decade of tragedy from AIDS deaths to the space shuttle explosion. There were many firsts in the 1980s, as Sally Ride became the first female astronaut in space and Sandra O'Connor took her seat on the Supreme Court. Share your poems, stories, artwork, photos, and comics with us about the 1980s. Send them to [email protected] by August 6th. Moss Piglet is published without ads, so we rely on subscriptions, donations, grants, and single-issue sales to continue our operations. Retail copies are $15, plus shipping. Contributors receive a $5.00 discount from the retail amount. Contact us at [email protected] to order single copies. You may also subscribe to receive our art and literary journal in your mailbox each month. If you're in the Chicagoland area, visit Quimby's Bookstore to purchase copies. |
