The Krazines, an art-making and zine-publishing group, will host Krazines Fest on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine, WI. The Wustum Museum is home to Racine Art Museum's (RAM) diverse art education programs, as well as art exhibitions, including work by recipients of RAM Artists Fellowship awards, which will be on display on November 9. Admission is free.
Krazines Fest will showcase and sell work by independent artists and authors, offering zines, poetry chapbooks, comics and graphic fiction, other small press publications, and curiosities, such as buttons, postcards, prints, original art, and buttons. Visitors to the festival can take in workshops hosted by Chicago Zine Fest, Midwest Perzine Fest, and Milwaukee Zine Fest. They may also attend the Artists' Resource Fair, taking place at the museum during the hours of 10am-2pm. |
